Police officer shot in Camden, NJ; suspect reportedly in custody

A suspect was reportedly in custody Wednesday night after a police officer was shot in Camden, N.J. 

The officer, who was not immediately identified, was shot in a thigh around 10:30 p.m., NJ.com reported.

Details on what led to the shooting were not immediately available.

Philadelphia's Fox 29 reported that the officer was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
