From China to world, millions expected to practice tai chi

An estimated 50,000 took part in similar events at 200 different venues across the city, which is said to be the birth place of Chen Style Tai Chi some 380 years ago. Displays like this are to be performed in 165 Chinese cities, and 30 foreign cities in 25 countries, with 10 million people expected to participate in worldwide from Sept 1 to 17. Tai chi is a Chinese martial art practiced for both self-defense training and for its health giving benefits.
